Every artist is in part shaped by his or her surroundings. Eric has been fortunate to be surrounded by talented and passionate people throughout his life. This series is a reflection of the most recent evolution in his artistic career.

The gold and coppers you see on these pieces were applied as powder pigments and then literally torched into the background. Many thanks to Piper Hopkins, and Billy O'neil for introducing Eric to this new and exciting metallic media.
